Concerning the drafting, one of my professors claimed that if you're in a side wind, you can draft if you're next to the truck (only try this on an interstate). He claimed that the side wind and the nose of the truck created a draft pocket on the downstream side. I don't know if it works, but I figured it was worth throwing out there.
